Art Goes Electronic offers a free opportunity for artists to display artwork on a digital billboard on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.
Art Goes Electronic (AGE) in conjunction with the City of West Hollywood's Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission is offering an ongoing free opportunity for artists to display their artwork on the digital billboard located at 9039 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069.
The City of West Hollywood, also known as the 'Creative City,' is home to the 1.6 mile-long stretch of Sunset Boulevard known as the Sunset Strip, famous for its music ventures, comedy clubs, hotels and long history of creative billboard advertising. Located in the heart of the Sunset Strip, this unique opportunity will provide artists of all genres to display their work at intervals on a digital billboard for up to a total of 2 hours per day in a location that is viewed by tens of thousands of people daily.
Artists can submit up to six (6) prospective art pieces per month. The horizontal display measures 10' (H) x 20' (W) and all submissions must meet the following specifications:
Display resolution: 288 (H) x 640 (W) pixels
File Resolution: 72 dpi
File Format: .jpg
Avoid white backgrounds, use off-white instead.

Deadlines vary, but as a general rule, you must submit your work no later than one month prior to the first day of the themed month you would like to display your work in.
